First Arabic Travel Guide on Sri Lanka Launched; Insight to Travelling in Sri Lanka

John Amaratunga, Sri Lankan Minister of Tourism, was presented with the newest edition of the sole Arabic language travel book that provides a guide on Sri Lanka by author and entrepreneur Ms, Heba Al Mansoori. The guidebook is titled “Sri Lanka: The Most Beautiful Island in the World.” The book was a success with the Arab-speaking community and the first 20,000 copies have been sold out. The book is uniquely written with the needs of an Arab traveler in mind. The book includes everything from accommodation options in different regions, such as hotels in Tangalle, of which Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort and various others are an example, to various ground arrangements, halal food outlets, shopping and other factors such as the locations of mosques.
