First Direct Flight from London to Bali Launched – Connecting to Bali straight from London

The Indonesian national carrier, Garuda Indonesia, switched it’s previous London, Heathrow to Jakarta flight to a direct one-way flight from Heathrow to Denpasar, Bali. This switch occurred on the 22^nd of January 2019. This change brings about quick access to the Seminyak beach hotels from the airport, such as Montigo Resorts Seminyak.

The flight operates thrice a week; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Taking 15 hours and 35 minutes, this 7,760-mile flight is flown on a Boeing 777-300 aircraft. However, the route is only on the outbound leg as travellers returning to London will have to do so via Jakarta- this also means passengers who need to get to Jakarta, must do so via Bali. The plane leaves London at 9:55 pm and lands in Bali at 9:15 pm local time.
