Recent reports reveal that the first automated motorbike and moped parking system that was established in Maldives was tested in September. Located behind Velanage office complex in Heenaamaage, the parking system was said to have been fashioned abroad upon the specific request of Maldives.
The reports further reveal that the State Trading Organization (STO) was assigned by the State government to install 20 such parking systems at various locations across the capital. Featuring an array of accommodation options; be it an island resort or a Maldives resort hotel including options such as Adaaran Club Rannalhi, this popular vacation destination expects to facilitate many with this cutting-edge parking system. 10 out of the 20 parking systems are expected to be specific to mopeds or motorbikes while the rest of the systems will be limited to cars.
