The Humanitarian Festival 2017 was successfully held at the Hulhumale’ Central Park on the 9th of September from 4 pm to 6 pm. This event was organised by the Malé branch of the Maldivian Red Crescent who’s working towards providing humanitarian aid, prevent and alleviate human suffering. The festival aims were to encourage more people to participate in efforts to do well in the community, promote current and upcoming programmes of MRC, awareness-social inclusion/vulnerable groups and much more. Many visited this festival including tourists who were holidaying in Maldives villas and resorts the likes of Kuramathi Maldives. There were games such as selfie scavenger hunt, target golf, snakes & ladders, ring toss and sessions including sustainable development goals available for visitors to take part in.
