Flavours by the Sea Held at The Entrance – A Celebration of Diversity

A multicultural event, Flavours by the Sea was held this month at The Entrance, NSW as part of the Central Coast Council’s, Harmony Week celebrations. It took place on 17th April 2021 at Memorial Park close to Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites. Residents and those who were staying at nearby Central Coast accommodation had the chance to attend this event which promoted the Harmony Day message of “everyone belongs” and respect for other cultures and religions.

There were many highlights at Flavours by the Sea including an indigenous art exhibition and free live entertainment including performances by Australian singer, Christine Anu, as well as Dogma and the Salsa Kingz; there were also community group performances from the likes of the Multicultural Fijian Association. Additionally, foodies had the opportunity to savour diverse international cuisines along with wines and beers at the Flavour Alley, Wine Bar and Six String Brewery Beer respectively.
