Flights Between India and Oman Within ‘Air Bubble’

A Positive Step For Travellers

An “air bubble” established between the governments of Oman and India in October this year, paved the way for flights to begin between the two countries. The initial official announcement was that this would be valid up to 30th November 2020; it remains to be seen if the “air bubble” stays in place moving forward and if tourists can also make use of it.

For the last two months, as part of the bilateral arrangement, passengers from India heading to Oman needed to either be Omani nationals or resident cardholders; however, Indian nationals with a valid Omani residency permit and whose only destination was Oman were also allowed to travel. It would be hoped in the near future, Indian tourist travel to Oman would also be permitted; from mountain adventures in Jebel Akhdar to a getaway at a Salalah beach resort including properties like Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara, there is much on offer here.
