Oman Air recently re-launched flight services between the Sultanate of Oman and the Maldives. The first flights from Maldives and from Oman left the respective airports, namely the Male International Airport and the Muscat International Airport, on 28th October 2018. The resumption of this service is bound to increase tourist arrivals with travellers having the option of staying at an island-based luxury resort Maldives has to offer including such properties as Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas.
Passengers flying on this route can enjoy the comforts of a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft which features both economy and business class. Flights from Muscat to Maldives are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays as well as Saturday and Sunday. Flights departing from Maldives and arriving in Muscat are available on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
