Flights to Riyadh Resumed by Oman Air – Documentaries on Oman Also to be Made

In April this year, Oman Air resumed its flights to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. At the time of the recommencement, the carrier offered four weekly flights to Riyadh as well as to Dammam, another city in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, three new weekly flights from Muscat to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates were also launched.

Oman is also looking to promote the country for international tourists when it’s safe to travel again. As reported on the online edition of the Times of Oman on 9th May 2021, the Oman Tourism Development Company signed an agreement to sponsor and support a project by Oman Infocus; this initiative is to produce special documentaries highlighting aspects such as tourist destinations and wildlife. Oman features both a rich cultural and natural heritage that can be experienced by travellers; from a luxury camp in the Wahiba Sands desert to a Sur beach hotel including properties like Sur Plaza Hotel, it provides safe accommodation options too.
