Focusing on food and hospitality, Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) 2019 was held this month in the Thai capital. This trade-only event ran from 4th to 7th September at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The venue which is within easy reach of both budget and luxury Bangkok hotels including properties belonging to Chatrium Hotels & Residences had three halls dedicated for this popular event; in fact, this year’s exhibition boasted a 20% increase in size when compared to last year.
Food & Hotel Thailand 2019 had more than 450 exhibitors from around the world and had international pavilions from countries like Denmark, Japan and China as well as a spotlight on the EU. Aspects covered included food & beverages, coffee & tea, kitchen equipment, hospitality equipment and wine & spirits. The Thailand National Latte Art Championship and the Thailand International Culinary Cup were among the highlights of the event.
