The French government has relaxed the travel advisory it imposed for Sri Lanka amidst the economic crisis and political unrest that lasted a few months. However, as strict measures were taken to restore order, there is no longer a risk involved for tourists visiting the island. The French citizens visiting Sri Lanka have been advised to always be vigilant and use a travel agency for their visits.
As the travel advisories from many countries are being relaxed recently, Sri Lanka Is now experiencing more tourists back on the island. Popular areas such as Mirissa, Kalutara, Galle, Nuwara Eliya, and Hikkaduwa are attracting many tourists now and will continue to do so over time. Many popular hotels in Kalutara such as Anantara Kalutara Resort will likely be almost fully booked for the upcoming season and is a great option for those who seek a relaxing stay.
