Galle Literary Festival – A Literary Festival like no other

Allowing visitors to appreciate the works of international and Sri Lankan authors, the popular Galle Literary Festival will be held from the 24th to 28th January 2018 at various venues across the city of Galle including within its iconic Dutch Fort. Due to the event’s popularity finding accommodation in Galle is no easy task during the festival, and participants and attendees can consider staying at an easily accessible ayurveda resort in Sri Lanka the likes of Surya Lanka Ayurveda Beach Resort.

Named as the Fairway Galle Literary Festival due to Fairway Holdings being the title sponsors, the 2018 edition will see the participation of authors including bestselling novelist Sebastian Faulks, Alexander Mccall Smith, Amit Chaudhuri, Ashok Ferrey, Bachi Karkaria, Pankaj Mishra, Nayomi Munaweera and so on. The festival will look to not only focus on literature but other elements such as visual arts and theatre as well.
