Galle Literary Festival held in Feb 2022 – For the book lovers

For the lovers of books and literary arts Sri Lanka offered the perfect place to hang out with like-minded people at the Galle Literary Festival that took place in February this year. The event was held close to the Galle Fort, the iconic landmark of the city of Galle. Books from famous international and local authors were on display at the location. Moreover, the event was conducted safely while adhering to Covid-19 rules.

Visitors from the local area plus foreign visitors staying at Fortress Resort and Spa, a hotel with the best banquet halls in Galle attended the event. Locals from other parts of Sri Lanka as well dropped by to purchase books from the stalls here. The event was a big success as the exhibition and book fair seemed to have and increasing number of attendees through out the years.
