Geminids Meteor Shower will be visible in December – A magical display of skylights

Since it is the month of December, it’s that time of the year when not only the city but the skies too are filled with cheer and twinkling lights. The Geminids meteor shower will adorn in the skies, probably in the second week of the month.

Observers will be able to view about 120 meteors every minute. These meteors will be moving at speeds of 125, 500 kmph. To catch the best glimpse of the Geminids that are due to rain over the skies of Australia, it is advisable that you stay away from all sources of light as much as possible. Look for the constellation Gemini while on your trip as the showers appear to be from this very star pattern.
