Globes in Motion Exhibition – The Wonder of Terrestrial and Celestial Spaces

Spinning a globe countless times and yet being unable to find a little island in the sea, is an experience we are all very familiar with. At the Globes in Motion Exhibition which is being held at the DNP Gotanda Building, Tokyo this experience will be completely transformed. The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to view ten celestial and terrestrial globes in 3D form. France’s National Library and Dai Nippon Printing are engaging in a project which aims to digitize age-old globes and the exhibition is a part of this project. You could conveniently delve deeper into an ancient world by being part of the exhibition while staying at Roppongi Residences which provides visitors with ideally located Tokyo serviced apartments. You can travel through time and space as the exhibition will be held in two parts. The first part of the exhibition is being held from February 19th to May 22nd 2016. You can also be a part of the exhibition later on in the year from the 3rd of June to the 4th of September, 2016.
