Gold Coast Airport has placed all necessary precautions throughout its terminals to ensure passenger safety. Located within easy access to serviced apartments Gold Coast has to offer such as Oaks Gold Coast Hotel, the airport requests the cooperation of their passengers in order to keep everyone safe. All passengers are required to wear face masks and they are urged to use online facilities to check in and book parking too. Also, the airport stresses that one should refrain from travelling if possible symptoms occur.
The airport further requests that the public practices good hygiene and physical distancing in accordance with the Federal Department of Health’s advice for travellers. A range of hygiene and communication measures have been introduced at the airport terminal; these include signage to remind people to practice safe physical distancing and the increased frequency of cleaning at touchpoints.
