Golden Hilltop Festival Held in Myanmar
A Captivating and Fun-filled Event
Known for its fair-like atmosphere, the Golden Hilltop Festival came to a close this month; the event which is held annually took place from 3rd to 9th February 2020 at the Kyaik Khauk Pagoda in Syriam, Myanmar; hotel deals were to be found in the former capital including properties such as Sedona Yangon during this time which was ideal for visitors who wanted to travel to the pagoda and witness the festivities.
The Golden Hilltop Festival 2020 featured a wide range of stalls that sold everything from bamboo mats and ceramics to pottery and delectable local dishes. The event attracted those from surrounding villages too, some of whom were seen arriving on ox-drawn carts. Entertainment played a big part of this festival as well with traditional Burmese performances known as “Anyeint” being held along with other stage shows and movie screenings too.
