Google Reveals Most Popular Travel Destination Trends of 2019

In December last year, Google revealed the list of 2019’s 10 most popular travel destination trends in which the top place went to the Maldives. The rankings were part of the company’s “Year in Search 2019”; the Travel Destination Trends category looked at destinations around the world that had the highest spikes in terms of searches in the United States in 2019 in comparison with 2018.
With the chance to stay at a luxury hotel Maldives has to offer such as Velassaru Maldives and enjoy indulgent island experiences, this destination continues to be a favourite amongst global travellers. Japan came in second place on the list of 10 Most Popular Travel Destination Trends of 2019, while Bora Bora (French Polynesia), Las Vegas (United States) and Mexico were ranked third, fourth and fifth respectively.
