A special networking event was held this month in Doha, Qatar as part of the fall 2020 edition of the Gulf Expo organised by the International Student Network (ISN). US Embassy sponsored local agents had the opportunity to attend the event with hotels in Doha including the likes of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli being amongst the accommodation options on offer. At the expo on 17th November 2020, such agents were able to meet and network with representatives of various academic institutions, universities and colleges from the United States.
The benefit of such networking events is that local agents can then promote the diverse opportunities and initiatives of these institutions to their various clients, namely prospective students in the region. Apart from Doha, the Gulf Expo’s fall 2020 edition made stops in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai this month as well.
