During the first half of 2024, nearly one million international tourists flocked to this UNESCO World Heritage Site, compared to roughly 500,000 domestic holidaymakers, according to the Ha Long Bay Management Board.

Visitors worldwide are continuing to arrive in numbers with Ha Long Bay accommodation providers in the city like Citadines Marina Halong offering easy access to the harbour from which to head off on thrilling excursions. From cruises and kayaking adventures to exploring the bay’s dramatic limestone pillars, intriguing caves and pristine islands, there’s something for everyone. Popular attractions include the Thien Cung Cave, Ba Trai Dao Islet, and Cat Ba National Park, offering a glimpse into the bay’s awe-inspiring beauty.
