Held in Bhutan, the Haa Summer Festival is an annual event that gives visitors a chance to witness the traditional lifestyle and fascinating culture of the Haa people. This year’s festival took place from 5th to 6th July at the Town Festival Ground in Haa and those in search of a Paro hotel from which to head to the area and learn more about the local culture can consider Uma by COMO, Paro, Bhutan.
During the course of the 2 days that the Haa Summer Festival was held, visitors got to witness a wide range of activities of these inhabitants of Bhutan and who are traditionally farmers and yak herders. Traditional dances and folks songs, mask dances, archery, displays of unique alpine flowers and a chance to see an age old way of life and sample local dishes were among the notable highlights here along with the Nublang cattle show featuring a special cattle breed.
