Half a Million Visitors in Three Months at Salalah Festival – A Favourite Local Festival

The Khareef Festival had drawn visitors to Salalah during the month of August according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI). It was further provided by the said authority that data measured a rise in tourist inflow from the 21st of June to the 21st of September. This is a beautiful area with splendid beaches, thus tourists were guaranteed to have a wonderful time. Accommodation can be sought in any Salalah beach resort, among the many options such as Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. Statistics from June dictate that with that estimation of 55,835 out of a total of 102,234, the majority of Salalah visitors are Omani Citizens. It is quite significant that the survey report of 2016 provided that 74 percent of the visitors of the year were citizens.
