Health and Safety Guidelines when traveling to Sri Lanka

Returning to normalcy

Due to the COVID -19 global pandemic, the tourism sector in Sri Lanka was also badly affected. Both domestic and international travel had to halt for several months until the country saw a successful control of the situation. Although international travel is still not allowed, the authorities have allowed the local travellers to engage in their domestic vacations adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

As soon as the domestic travel restrictions were lifted, many holiday bungalows in Nuwara Eliya the likes of Scottish Planter Glendevon Bungalow Nuwara Eliya were booked by travellers from across the country. The health officials are regularly monitoring the preventive measures these key players in the tourism sector have taken to ensure the safety of their guests and the society as a whole.
