Wealth tourism in Thailand is on the rise and is showing signs of increasing growth; this is according to a recent article published on the non-profit English language news portal, the Chiang Rai Times. While the country has always been popular with tourists, more and more foreign visitors are focused on enjoying a wellness retreat here.
According to the article, there are many reasons for this including the fact that Thailand has picturesque destinations as well as high-levels of medical care which contribute to enhancing the wellness experience. Also highlighted was the popularity of many of the country’s hotels and resorts since they offer everything from yoga and meditation to weight loss programmes and fitness camps. Be it at a hotel in Chiang Rai the likes of Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort or a resort in Phuket, tourists can look forward to a wellness holiday like no other.
