Whilst the island nation of the Maldives welcomes international travellers from any country, there are several COVID-19 restrictions the visitors are required to follow. Both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers can enter the Maldives. However, unvaccinated travellers are advised to take a PCR test between day 3 and day 5 after arrival. Please note that international travellers must meet the basic entry requirements including a valid passport, pre-paid hotel booking/accommodation, and sufficient funds. You can learn more about the requirements by visiting the Maldives Immigration website. Any visitor can leave the Maldives despite the vaccination status.
