A festival that brings together a wonderful collection of contemporary art, the Herring Island Summer Arts Festival was held from the 17th of January to the 6th of April commencing the festival series of exhibitions. The Herring Island Summer Arts Festival featured a range of dazzling exhibitions that included the ‘Narrative’- an exhibition that displayed work from members of the Association of Sculptors of Victoria, and the ‘Contemporary by Nature 2015’ exhibition that featured a brilliant collection of art such as sculptures made using forged steel and painted timber, oil, acrylic & watercolour paintings; all interpreting aspects of nature in very different ways.
