Hong Kong Airlines Resumes Flights to Maldives – A Good Pick-Up For Tourism 

Velena Airport in the Maldives marked a significant milestone on January 19th this year with the arrival of flight HX791 Hong Kong Airlines from Hong Kong International Airport bringing tourists to the island. To commemorate the occasion at Velena Airport, tourists received a warm welcome with a Bodu Beru performance and gift packs.

Hong Kong and China have been 2 key markets for the Maldives and the recommencement of flights from China has made a major impact on the tourism industry.
