As part of a means in which to slowly but surely restart tourism, Hong Kong is planning to develop “air travel bubbles” with certain nations. The initial plan to start such a travel agreement was made with Singapore; though it was postponed due to a rise in cases, it has been under review since Christmas last month and if all goes well will start relatively soon. Additionally, last November, the CNBC website also highlighted that the country was looking to have a similar air travel bubble arrangement with mainland China.
It will be hoped that international borders will open, allowing tourists to once more visit Hong Kong. Hotels with hygiene measures continue to provide visitors with a safe stay in the city, while properties the likes of Dorsett Wanchai have adopted additional health and sanitisation protocols as well.
