Hong Kong Quarantine Rules Relaxed for 2023

The year 2023 becomes a victorious year for any luxury or budget hotel in Hong Kong, as the country’s quarantine rules have been relaxed. Therefore, hotels like Dorsett Mongkok Hong Kong will be able to welcome a higher inflow of global tourists to their accommodations throughout the year.

As reported on Human Resources Online on the 3rd of January 2023, most of the country’s inbound measures and social distancing have been relaxed, except for the mask mandate. Therefore, tourists can travel within the country rather freely, in comparison to the previous year. While all are required to adhere to the mask mandate when visiting public areas such as public transportation, catering businesses, MTR paid areas etc., they will be allowed to remove the mask at outdoor parks or other outdoor public areas, during strenuous physical activities, at sports premises and during on-stage photo capturing.
