A move which offered a boost to the hospitality industry, as well as tourists, Hong Kong and Singapore recently, established an air travel bubble that allowed for two-way travel between the countries. This is expected to come into effect around December with passengers having to take the specific flight/s dedicated for this arrangement. A key feature of this leisure travel bubble is that those travelling between these two nations will not have to undergo quarantine or follow a controlled itinerary.
One reason this bilateral agreement was reached is due to the relatively low number of COVID-19 cases along with strict protocols to control and manage the virus in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Hotels with hygiene measures including properties the likes of Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong adhere to stringent health guidelines ensuring travellers a safe stay.
