Hong Kong & Singapore Establish Air Travel Bubble – A Welcome & Positive Move

A move which offered a boost to the hospitality industry, as well as tourists, Hong Kong and Singapore recently, established an air travel bubble that allowed for two-way travel between the countries. This is expected to come into effect around December with passengers having to take the specific flight/s dedicated for this arrangement. A key feature of this leisure travel bubble is that those travelling between these two nations will not have to undergo quarantine or follow a controlled itinerary.

One reason this bilateral agreement was reached is due to the relatively low number of COVID-19 cases along with strict protocols to control and manage the virus in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
