Hong Kong-Singapore Travel Bubble May Have One Flight a Day

Good News for Travellers

Travel bubbles between Hong Kong and Singapore have slowly been opening up since the later weeks of October 2020. According to Edward Yau, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development in Hong Kong, they hope that the one flight a day plan would re-establish business and trade links between the two financial hubs, bringing a much-needed boost for both economies post-COVID19.

Hotels in Clarke Quay Singapore would begin to see a boost in guests as the flight a day brings in Hong Kongers on business to Singapore. This is the first time in almost seven months that the two countries have reopened borders to each other. Park Hotel Clarke Quay and other resorts which have high hygiene standards and social distancing programmes have slowly begun receiving more guests.
