Hong Kong’s COVID Restrictions Relaxed for Tour Groups

As announced by the Government of Hong Kong, COVID restrictions on inbound travel tour groups have been relaxed. The news, which was reported on CNN on the 8th of November 2022 was a positive message for hotels like Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong or any other Wan Chai hotel as their guests will be at the advantage of freely exploring the city.

Therefore, those arriving in the financial hub as tour groups are now allowed to visit theme parks and museums as well. According to the Government, these measures are expected to contribute to the gradual recovery of the inbound travel market, as announced at a high-profile financial summit which witnessed the presence of over 200 financial executives. Further, this step will also create favourable business environments in the travel trade.
