“I’m Vaccinated” Campaign Launched in the Maldives – Vaccine Vacations Also on the Cards

While having reopened for tourism last year, the Maldives has also put in place several initiatives to assure travellers of safe stays. One of them was a campaign called “I’m Vaccinated” launched in April 2021 as part of the plan to have the first fully vaccinated tourism workforce in the world. As such, the Maldives is in the process of fully vaccinating all those in the tourism industry with those who have received the vaccine wearing an “I’m Vaccinated” badge.

Such an initiative is amongst the indicators that this tropical nation is one of the safest in the world for holidays. Travellers can stay at a luxury resort Maldives has to offer on a private island including the likes of OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI which features stringent health and hygiene protocols too. Additionally, the country is expected to launch its vaccine vacations programme by year’s end which will give tourists a chance to receive a COVID-19 vaccination as well.
