“I’m Vaccinated” Microsite Launched by Visit Maldives – Showcasing a Safe Destination

In July this year, Visit Maldives in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism launched the ‘I’m Vaccinated’ microsite (https://vaccinated.visitmaldives.com/) which featured various elements including a display of the number of those vaccinated in the tourism industry. This initiative was part of the greater “I’m Vaccinated” campaign that kicked off in April 2021; its goal was to fully vaccinate all tourism industry workers and make the nation amongst the world’s first fully vaccinated tourism sectors.

The microsite also featured the latest COVID-19 related news, while offering up to date HPA guidelines and information on the vaccination registration process for those in the tourism industry. The country remains one of the success stories during the pandemic since it reopened its borders for tourism last year; with the chance to enjoy quarantine-free and safe stays at hotels in Maldive island including family-friendly properties like Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, travellers have once more been flocking here for holidays.
