India, South Korea sign MoU on Tourism collaboration – The beginning of a new era!

On the 5th of November, The Indian ministry of tourism had signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Ministry of sports, tourism and culture Government, for the Republic of Korea to strengthen the mutual relationship and the industry of tourism between both countries. The event has The Memorandum was signed by Korean Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sports, Do Jong-hwan, and Union Tourism Minister K J Alphons who both represented their respective countries. The main objective of the MoU is to improve the bilateral cooperation in tourism sector between countries, heartening cooperation between stakeholders in the tourism industries Tour operators Hotels and resort properties and exchange of statistical data and information. Economist believes this bold move by both the governments will play an instrumental role in the development both the county’s economy. The MoU has also brought in new hopes for resorts and hotels in Goa and other popular tourist destinations in India and properties like Alila Diwa Goa along with many others are eagerly waiting to receive and accommodate the new tourist footfall from South Korea.
