It’s a fact that the Maldives is ahead of any other tourist destination in the world when it comes to recovering post-pandemic. It was one of the first destinations to welcome back international travellers and the tourism officials in the Maldives believe that 2022 will be a better year for the country in terms of the travel and tourism industry.
Every Maldives luxury resort the likes of Kandolhu Maldives received a good number of foreign guests during the past couple of months. According to the authorities, most travellers were from India and Russia. Indian travellers embraced the Maldivian travel concepts such as 3V tourism so well that they even chose this destination for their family vacations. This income has contributed largely to the restrengthening of the economy as well as the collapsed tourism sector. Tourism officials also believe that European and American guests will also start to come to the Maldives soon.
