The association of the Indonesian Fashion Designers will be highlighted with the start of Indonesian Fashion Week 2015. The event will be held from the 26th of February to 1st March 2015 at the Jakarta Convention Center. Travellers visiting the country and are seeking for accommodation could consider a stay at a featured hotel in Jakarta such as Keraton at The Plaza, Jakarta that provides guests easy access to the convention center.
The fashion week is said to promote Indonesian culture & tradition and will feature 32 fashion shows, exhibitions, seminars as well as competitions. There will be close to 665 brands and over 1920 outfits showcased at the fashion show. Ministries such as The Coordinating Ministry of Economy, Welfare, Ministry of Tourism as well as Ministry of Trade will be supporting this event. It is believed that by hosting such event the country will be considered as one of the world’s leading fashion destinations.
