Indonesia Offers Quarantine-Free Entry & Visa on Arrival – Bali Sees Increase in Tourists

As part of its systematic reopening of international borders, Indonesia has been relaxing pandemic-related protocols for tourists making it easier for them to visit. As such, those arriving do not have to show proof of a negative result of a COVID-19 test taken before embarkation, while fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from undergoing quarantine. Additionally, the country is issuing visas on arrival for tourism for travellers from certain nations which has also led to a growth in arrivals, especially in places like the island of Bali.

The popularity of this holiday destination was further highlighted when the 42nd edition of World Tourism Day was held on 27th September 2022 in Bali. Resorts by the beach continue to draw tourists from around the world looking to experience the best the island has to offer. Furthermore, properties like Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort also have stringent health and hygiene measures in place while its team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, helping to ensure safe stays for guests.
