Indonesia to re-open borders for tourism next month – Hello Indonesia!

Like all other countries that were majorly dependent on the tourism industry, Indonesia is also said to have suffered a lot due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The government decided to pace up the vaccination program for the locals in Indonesia, and by also carried out a widespread vaccination process targeting the tourism workforce.

However, Indonesia decided to kickstart tourism from its main tourism hotspots- Bali, Bintan, and Batam. This decision has made successful results so far, and after observing the progress, the officials will decide to open other regions as well. Many Bintan hotels the likes of The Residence Bintan by Cenizaro have most likely obtained the Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) certification already, and other key players are also most likely in the process of obtaining this certificate. Indonesia will focus more on attracting the Middle Eastern tourist market since it generated massive income for the country before the pandemic.
