International Flights Resume in Oman

Domestic Flights to Salalah Also Begin

Last month saw the resumption of international flights from Oman which followed a period of closure since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, domestic flights were also up and running in October between Muscat, the capital, and the coastal city of Salalah; beach resort properties in the area including the likes of Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara are open for guests and are following stringent health and hygiene protocols as well.

With the initial opening up of international flights, travellers had the chance to head to 18 cities across 12 countries; these included destinations such as Doha and Dubai to where there were two flights every week. While strict guidelines were and still are in place, passengers have been encouraged to check the Omani Civil Aviation Authority website (http://caa.gov.om/) for COVID-19-related updates.
