As a novel initiative introduced by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau to successfully face the negative impacts in the country’s tourism industry that followed the Easter attack in 2019, several visiting journalist and travel blogger programs were conducted covering all locations of Sri Lanka while addressing the diverse tourist attraction aspects as well.
During the program, the special guests were provided with accommodation in Nuwara Eliya, Jaffna, Galle and other iconic destinations in the country and properties the likes of Galway Heights may also have been chosen for stays at different program types depending on instances. A 3600 view of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean- Sri Lanka was successfully granted to the guests covering all aspects of culture, wildlife, scenic beauty, water sports and many more through this series of programs.
