Invest in the Maldives sustainable tourism – Travel and Connectivity Theme Week – An opportunity for aspiring investors

The archipelago of the Maldives has a tourism-dependent economy that’s sustained mainly by foreign travellers. This affords investors many opportunities, who are looking to reap the benefits of thriving tourism industry. What’s more,  sustainability is a term that’s often associated with tourism, which has also created another branch of tourism, which is sustainable tourism.

The Travel and Connectivity Week, which was held from 9th to 15th January was aimed at promoting sustainable tourism. Finding a channel through which travellers and investors can address the question of how to integrate the connectivity of the digital world and the physical world. Several programmes were initiated during the event, and among them is the Best Practice Area Programme, which was in connection with Travel & Connectivity. On a different note, the event also resulted in high numbers of business travellers visiting the Maldives, creating a possible spike in the best Maldives resort rates, which worked extremely well for establishments like Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon.
