IRONMAN 70.3 COLOMBO – The ultimate test of endurance!

After a trailblazing success, with a 91.5% athlete satisfaction, the ambitious triathlon took place on the 24th of February. Challenging the participants on endurance and athletic abilities, the Ironman Colombo 70.3 is an adrenalin pumping event which consists of running, cycling and swimming. The event was Presented by ‘Pro Am Serendib’which owns the ‘Ironman’brand, the event brought the hidden talents of the Sri Lankan athletes to the international stage. The triathlon began with a 1.9km ocean swim followed by 90km bike course and concluded with a 21 kilometre run. Witnessing the triathalon was one of the main things to do in Sri Lanka and was on top in the itinerary of tourists last month and many tourists also participated in the event. Also, popular brands the likes of Cinnamon Air along with many others highly encouraged the event.
