IWTA speaks with Naowarat Arunkong (Khun Bee) – An inspirational woman!

There are many Asian women who have outstanding achievements in different industries across the world. Travel Daily’s Inspiring Women in Travel Asia (IWTA) therefore takes the opportunity to bring out the stories of these amazing women to the entire world. A representative of the IWTA Committee interviews a prominent figure in the hotel industry, the Cluster General Manager Avani+ Hua Hin and Anantara Hua Hin, Naowarat Arunkong.

Naowarat Arunkong, also called Khun Bee started off her career as an intern in the House Keeping Division at her first workplace. After facing many challenges in her career and a few shifts as well, she has made her way to the top of the ladder and was the first female general manager at Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas. Today she holds the position of Cluster General Manager for 2 properties in the chain that are famous for their great rooms and Hua Hin meeting venues. Even though she had humble beginnings, Khun Bee has certainly left her mark in Asia.
