Japan is one of the countries that remained closed for quite a while since the pandemic. Later on, the country opened with very strict rules for travel. Now, inbound travellers no longer have to take COVID-19 tests on arrival or self-quarantine at their accommodation. The quota for 10,000 international arrivals per day has also been increased to 20,000 since the 1st of June this year.
As Japan opens for tourists, Fukuoka apartments the likes of lyf Tenjin Fukuoka are sure to receive more occupants in the near future. Countries will be put into 3 categories according to the number of COVID-19 cases. Those travelling from countries assigned as “blue” will not require a PCR on arrival, nor will they need to quarantine. This is regardless of the vaccination status. More details on the categories will be released by authorities soon.
