JKP Partners with AGC Innovate to Pave a Sustainable Future for Sri Lanka’s Construction Sector – Sustainable approaches to construction

Plastic waste in Sri Lanka and across the world poses a major threat to the environment, especially marine life in islands such as this. In order to reduce plastic waste in the country, John Keels Properties (JKP) has decided to partner with AGC putting innovative ideas together for the future of the construction industry.

The two parties are focused on converting the waste material into raw materials. Plastics will be used as a substitute for fossil fuels such as Bitumen. This will be used in the construction of paved roads. Luxury apartments in Colombo that are under JKP have altered plans to go with the situational needs at the moment. Cinnamon Life is one such example.
