JKP Partners with AGC Innovate to Pave a Sustainable Future for Sri Lanka’s Construction Sector

Working towards a future without plastic waste

The plastic bags we use every single day contribute to the pollution that occurs on planet earth and in this day and age, awareness about the major damage to the environment has been on the rise. For Sri Lanka to play its part as well in the reduction of waste and pollution, John Keells Properties has partnered with AGC bringing about an innovative solution for the construction sector.

Plastic Modified Asphalt Concrete (PMAC) is a material containing recycled plastic that can be used to pave roads. This has also been used in the construction projects for Crescat Boulevard and Cinnamon Life which are popular apartments in Colombo Sri Lanka. The 2 companies aim to significantly reduce plastic waste in the country.
