John Legend Says He Proposed to His Wife at Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

An ideal endorsement to the country being one of the premier destinations for a romantic getaway, singer songwriter John Legend recently revealed that he proposed to his wife while on a holiday in the Maldives, when staying at Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas. This island resort which is also known for offering intimate hideaways for a Maldives island wedding, was the choice of destination for the singer and then girl friend, model Chrissy Teigen who had previous been involved in a Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot here. Part of an interview published online on London based telegraph.co.uk, John Legend whose actual name is John Stephens also went on to reveal that he and his wife generally take at least two holidays yearly with destinations visited other than Maldives including Turks and Caicos, the South of France and Thailand. The singer of one of 2013’s biggest romantic hits, “All of me”, John Legend also stated they preferred more laidback holidays than adventure filled ones, which was another reason to pick the Maldives.
