From the year 2013 when the event was initiated, the Rodrigues International Kitesurf Festival has been drawing in more and more people each year. The festivities kicked off well and remained full of vigour and energy right to the end.
Many tourists flew to the island and filled up Mauritius accommodation in properties like The Residence Mauritius by Cenizaro and did not fail to stop by the turquoise lagoon from the 27th of June to the 1st of July for some exciting experiences. The purpose of hosting this event is to put the island of Rodrigues on the map in the tourism industry.
