The much anticipated Koh Samui Midnight Run is all set to take place this month in Chaweng. Beach resorts and hotels in the area offer easy access for tourists wishing to join in the fun of this popular event which is scheduled to be held on 23rd March 2020. As with previous editions, the race will start and finish at The Reggae Bar near Chaweng Lake and a short drive from Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort.
Jointly organised by the Thai Association of Koh Samui and the Thai Hotels Association, this race, true to its name, starts at midnight and families can take part too. Runners can choose from a five or ten-kilometre race, while there are a number of age categories for men, women and children. One of the key objectives of the Koh Samui Midnight Run is to raise funds for charities such as the School for Autistic Children in Koh Samui and the Green Project.
