While Koh Samui in Thailand may be known for its gorgeous beaches during the day, it has plenty of adventures to offer at night too including a running event when midnight strikes! This popular annual event is set to be held on 23rd March 2020 and will be centred around the Reggae Pub in Koh Samui; resorts on the island including the likes of Avani+ Samui Resort can be used as bases from which to head out to this popular bar to join in the fun and cheer participants too.
Begun in 2015, the Koh Samui Midnight Run features both a 5 km and a 10 km course (two loops of the 5 km course) for different age categories; under 11 years, 12 to 17 years, 18 to 49 years and 50 years and above. Families can also take part in the run and fancy dress costumes are encouraged, while funds raised will be utilised to help local charities.
